Amanda grew up in Kennebunk. She attended Grove City College and received her BA in International Business and Economics. She returned to Kennebunk with her husband, Werner, to pursue a career and start her family and later received her MBA from USM.

She currently works in affordable housing serving folks looking for safe, cost efficient housing. Her favorite thing about leading our discipleship ministry is seeing others grow confident in who they are in Jesus and building a strong relationship with him.

When asked for her favorite scripture she said, “How do you choose a favorite scripture? It really depends on the day and what I need that day, but overall maybe Micah 6:8, ‘He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.’”
