When we started the Women's Ministry, we asked ourselves, "What would God want the Women's Ministry to do?”
The Answer: Draw us closer to Him and give us real friends who love God and love us. And so, years ago, the Messiah Women's Ministry started providing solid bible teaching with a goal toward deepen our relationship with our Father and providing opportunities for women to come together to grow spiritually and in friendship. We offer:
- Monthly gatherings on the third Thursday of each month at 7PM.
- Women's Bible Study Sunday at 8:30AM,
- An annual retreat in May. This year our annual retreat is on May 18 and 19th at Windsor Hills Retreat Center. Registration is open now! Please call the church office for more information (207) 985-9287.
The theme for the Women's Ministry for 2011-12 is "Be Still and know that I am God." Psalm 46. We will drawing closer to the Lord this year and exalting Him in all of His majesty.
