Sunday Small Group
FAQs

What are Sunday Small Groups?
Sunday Small Groups are relational Bible classes for adults made up of people with similar interests, needs, or life styles. The three purposes of each group are to engage in practical Bible study, to become a caring community, and to grow spiritually.

Who can participate?
All groups are open to everyone and may be joined at any time. Each group is expected to grow continually with the goal of one day "re-birthing" a new group. This goal to grow means that there's always room for one more and that each person will have the opportunity to share their unique gifts and story.

Where do they meet?
The groups meet at church on Sunday mornings, 9:45 am-10:40 am. A map is available in the church lobby with specific class locations.

What will my children do?
A staffed Nursery is available for children under
3 years old. Kidz Klub is available for children in grades PK thru 6 in the ROC gym. Between Time is available for youth in grades 7 thru 12. Teens entering 7th and 8th grades in the fall meet in lounge area to the right of church office. Teens entering  9th and 10th grades meet in the corner room off fellowship hall. And teens entering 11th and 12th grades through college will meet in the ROC lounge.

The Elders and Pastors of Messiah Christian Church have established the following 5 Year Statement:
The Leadership of Messiah Christian Church will be led by God's Word, wisdom, teaching of the Holy Spirit, prayer and servant leadership as exemplified by Jesus.

The three words describing our 5 Year Mission are:
Draw To: We will attract people to our church through the presentation of excellent ministries, creative events, authentic relationships and a warm environment.

Connect To: We will develop a community of believers by personally engaging each individual, and creating a bridge to suitable individuals, groups and ministries.

Grow: We will nurture spiritual growth for individuals at various levels of belief by challenging them through practical education and personal accountability to become leaders in their home, church and local community.
