| Messiah
Christian Church (MCC) is a friendly church serving the Wells, Kennebunk,
and surrounding communities. We are a bible believing, evangelical,
interdenominational church which was founded in 1988. We strive to share
the love and acceptance of Christ with each other and keep Christ at the
center of all our ministries. It is important to us that people find us to
be kind and genuinely interested in their lives.
Currently, our
congregation represents over ten various denominations, and we believe
that God has called us to unity. Our congregation is a diverse blend of
youth, couples, families, singles, and seniors - its' a very special
church family.
Here you will discover
vibrant and caring fellowship with people who are sincere in their worship
of God and their response to one another. You will find timely, relevant
Biblical messages and an opportunity to make new friends. We believe in
the midst of so much uncertainty in the world that the church should be a
place where a person can go and find hope, where families grow closer,
where hurts can be healed, where joys are shared, and where people can
hear about God's love for them.
Our leadership includes
our Pastor, Elders, Deacons Board, and a group of lay leaders who serve in
our various ministries. Also, our board of trustees has an annual meeting
during which it reviews the finances, spiritual growth and activities of
the church for the previous year as well as the budget and ministry plan
for the upcoming year.
