Staff Bios

 Pastor Dan Moore –Senior Pastor

Pastor Dan loves to see people come to Christ and grow and change. He accepted Christ in 1977. He holds a Masters from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Theology and Masters' degrees in Counseling and Education. He also holds his Doctorate of Ministry. Pastor Dan played for the Birmingham Stars, a semi professional basketball team, and once held the record for the most points scored in a high school basketball game with 71 points. Pastor has served on the foreign mission field in Saudi Arabia and he is currently the chaplain for the Wells Fire Department. He and Rosemary were called to plant Messiah in 1988 and they have enjoyed their ministry to the wonderful people of this area. 

His favorite scripture is 1 Corinthians 15: 58: "Stand firm and let nothing move you. Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord."

Rosemary Moore-Director Discipleship and Outreach

Rosemary committed her life to Jesus Christ at the age of 17. She met her husband, Dan, in 1983 while she was at the University of Connecticut School of Law and he was finishing his doctorate in ministry.  They moved to Maine where she began her legal career and her husband planted Messiah Christian Church They have two great kids; their son is an account executive in Boston and their daughter recently graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Missions.  In 2005, after having just achieved her 20-year goal of becoming the president of a company, her career was cut short when their son was diagnosed with a form of MS. Through many other personal trials, including a broken neck in 2010, the  Lord has been changing her relationship with Him as well as her desires and ministry. This new love relationship with the Lord has led Rosemary into a life of prayer and spiritual discipleship of women. Rosemary is currently pursuing her MA in Spiritual Formation and Discipleship at Moody Theological Seminary.

One of her favorite scriptures is 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and in everything give thanks, for this is God’s will for in you in Christ Jesus.”

Linda Littell-Director of Finance and Administration

Linda grew up in Manchester, NH and attended Plymouth State College, majoring in art. After a twenty year banking career in Nashua, NH, Linda relocated to Kennebunkport, where she lives currently with her boxer, Ivy. She is retired, and in addition to her Finance and Administrative  duties , she serves as the  Women’s Ministry Leader. Linda’s career experience enables her to lead the financial and administrative needs of the church; and her inter-personal skills and affection for the women in the church enable her to lead the Women’s Ministry. She has experienced many of life’s challenges – divorce, being widowed, family illnesses, caregiving to a terminally ill husband - which help her to empathize and have compassion for so many of our women who are facing all kinds of hardships and troubles.. The women at Messiah are a Christian sisterhood that cares about and for each other. 

She has been blessed as a member of Messiah Christian Church since 2007, and Linda’s favorite scripture is 1 Peter 3:4. "Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” 

Cindy Falta- Executive Assistant

 Cindy grew up in Saugus, Massachusetts where she met and married her high school sweetheart Keith in 1996.  Cindy and Keith currently reside in Wells with their teenage daughter, Sarah Rose.  Cindy earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies at Fisher Junior College and has over 18 years Administrative experience working for a variety of large and small organizations, with her most recent employer being Maine Medical Center. Cindy was raised in a Protestant home and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 13.  The Falta family began attending Messiah Christian Church in 2004 and became members of the church in June, 2012.  Cindy currently serves on the Praise and Worship Team, the Women’s Ministry Leadership Team and for SonDance Academy.

Cindy’s favorite scripture is Isaiah 40:31 "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not grow faint.”
