Baptism

BAPTISM:

We believe that baptism is an important step of obedience for every person who has accepted Christ as his or her Savior. Still, you may have questions. Why is it an act of obedience? Is it required of everyone? If I've been baptized before, do I need to do it again? Please feel free to ask. Baptism is the last step in the membership process.

INFANT DEDICATION

Infant Dedication is a sign of God's covenant and is properly administered to children of believers in their infancy. One parent MUST be an official member of Messiah (finished the process and approved) in order for you to register your child to be dedicated.

CHILD BAPTISM

If your child is age 7-12 and wishes to be baptized, he or she must go through the child baptism curriculum. Also, one parent MUST be an official member of Messiah (finished the process and approved) in order for you to register your child to be baptized.

ADULT BAPTISM

If you are a teenager or adult and wish to be baptized, you must go through the membership process at Messiah consisting of the Membership Class. Once you are approved for membership, you will be eligible for baptism. The baptism will be the last step in the membership process.
